A three-month drug investigation has resulted in the confiscation of drugs, money and a gun, and the arrest of a southern Ohio man. Travis S. Moore, 31, of 98 Prichard St., Proctorville, Ohio, is charged with several counts of trafficking in drugs, a felony of the third degree.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless, at approximately 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, the Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, and Proctorville Police Department, executed a search warrant at the Prichard Street address. Lawless said the search warrant stemmed from a three-month investigation into the trafficking in drugs - Oxycodone tablets.

During the search warrant, Oxycodone tablets, Xanax tablets, cash and a firearm were collected. At the same time, Moore was taken into custody and transported to the Lawrence County Jail, and will be arraigned in Lawrence County Municipal Court on Friday.
