ANDALECIA C. “ALICE” BOND

LUCASVILLE — Andalecia C. “Alice” Bond, 87, of Sedan Crabtree Road, Lucasville, Ohio, died Sunday June 12, 2016 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born May 15, 1929 in Leyte, Philippines. In 1952 Alice was united in marriage to Clyde Bond who preceded her in death on August 9, 1996. She is survived by two sons, Max Bond and Joy of Lucasville, Ohio and Rick and Cathy Bond of McDermott, Ohio, a sister Linda Canoy of the Philippines, a daughter-in-law, Joanne Bond; five grandchildren, Jamie Bond, Jennifer Bond, Jessica Bond, Eric Bond and Eric Stephenson; six great grandchildren, Jacob, Jaiden, Alexandra, Chloe, Nicholas Stephenson and Alaina Smith. In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by her youngest son, James Bond who died May 19, 2016 and four brothers, Pedro, Emote, Quiong and Kidlat Canoy.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Pleasant Valley Community of Christ Church, Sedan Crabtree Road, Lucasville with Alvin Breech and Darren Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in Rockwell Cemetery, Lucasville. Friends may call at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway, Ohio from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
