CHILLICOTHE – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle injury crash that occurred on SR 32 near milepost 11 in Pike County. At 2137 hours the Jackson Dispatch Center received a call about a one car injury crash.

A 2001 Dodge Ram driven by Rickey Robinson, 53 of Rarden, was traveling westbound on SR 32 when he drove across the median into the eastbound lanes. Robinson then drove off the left side of the road, struck two trees and overturned.

Robinson was transported to Adena in Waverly. His injuries are unknown.

Elm Grove Fire Department, Pike County EMS, and The Pike County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
