Howard sentenced 20 years for burglary

GREENUP, Ky. — Accord to reports from the Greenup County Circuit Court, Clifford Allen Howard, 25, of Greenup, Ky. was sentenced in the court room of Judge Robert Conley, on March 30 for a total of 20 years during the course of the hearing.

Greenup County Circuit Court staff told The Daily Times, that Howard will soon be released from the Greenup County Detention Center as the result of a plea agreement, and will actually serve one year on probation, in addition to completion of drug court.

Howard’s charges are embodied in three indictments including burglary in the first degree, burglary in the third degree, theft and unlawful taking of a fire arm, and theft of $500 or more or under $10,000, where he received a 20 year sentence. The second indictment two counts of theft and unlawful taking of $500 or more but under $10,000, and a criminal mischief charge, and received five years probation on this indictment. The third and last of Howard’s indictment consisted of burglary in the third degree, and theft by unlawful taking of $500 or more, but under $10,000, and received five years probation on this indictment as well.
