Accident leaves one injured

Troopers with the Portsmouth Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a two vehicle crash that occurred on Lucasville Minford Road Friday afternoon.

Troopers say, there was a pickup truck towing a piece of farming equipment going West on Lucasville Minford Road towards Lucasville and there was another pickup truck going East bound on Lucasville Minford Road going towards Muletown.

The truck going east bound drove left of center, hit the west bound pickup truck that veered off the road and struck a fence and a ditch.”

Greg Holly, 59, of Lancaster was in the truck that drove left of center. Holly has to be

life flighted to St. Mary’s in Huntington. His current condition is unknown.

The other driver has been identified as Aaron Spriggs of Stout, Ohio, who was not injured.

Troopers say Holly was found at fault for the accident and will be charged at a later time, for being left of center.

The accident remains under investigation.
