A Piketon woman has been critically injured in a head-on crash.
Jessica Harris, 19, was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, following a two-vehicle crash on Ohio 73 at Coles Park on Monday afternoon.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said, a car driven by Tara Carver, 19, also of Piketon, was westbound on Ohio 73 when it went left of center and struck a box truck head-on.
The truck was operated by John L. Hanes, 55, of Seaman, Ohio. He too was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital, while, according to relatives, Carver was also admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital.
Harris remained critical at St. Mary’s on Tuesday morning.
The OSHP said the crash is still under investigation
