Submitted photo Portsmouth Area Ladies (PALS) has awarded a $500 grant to American Red Cross, Ohio River Valley Chapter (ARC,O RV) for its “Annual Heroes Breakfast”. The event will be held August 13th at SOMC Friends Center. The breakfast will honor local citizens whose daring nature have compelled him or her to do what’s right for the betterment of our community. If you know of an individual who exemplifies the Red Cross’ mission and would like to nominate that person or purchase tickets to the event, please contact ARV, ORV Executive Director, Debbie Smith at (740)354-3293.
