GRAYSON, Ky. — In preparation for their 2015 Christmas Parade Celebration, Grayson Chamber of Commerce (GACC) Christmas Committee is seeking help from the local community to formulate a theme for this year’s celebration.

According to Maggie M. Duncan, Coordinator GACC, the committee is seeking six or fewer words for the 2015 Christmas Parade Celebration. Last year’s theme was ‘All Hearts Come Home for Christmas’

“The Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce looks ways to not only to keep businesses involved in the community, but our citizens to,” Duncan said. ”We think it extremely important to keep the public informed, and involved. This brings positive ideas, and brings the best out in our community! We look forward each year reviewing all themes that are submitted.”

This year’s contest is open to the public and the chosen theme will be used for the Christmas Parade float entries. Winner of the theme will receive $25 and recognition at the Christmas Parade. Parade will be held Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. Main Street during Hometown Holidays in Grayson.

A name, address, and phone number should appear on the reverse side of the entry. No more than five entries per person. Deadline for entries at noon on Nov. 2.

Mail entries to Grayson Area Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 612, Grayson, Ky. 41143 or email entries to: [email protected].
