Suspect sought in hit and run

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating a hit and run incident which occurred on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 7:35 a.m. at a Super Quik store in Garrison, Ky.

The Sheriff’s Department is reporting that video camera surveillance in the Super Quik location revealed an unidentified person pictured was driving a black Chevy Blazer, possibly a late 90’s or early 2000’s model, four door, with luggage rack and sun roof. Apparently, the driver of the Chevy Blazer backed into another vehicle, and fled from the scene. Sheriff Johnny Bivens is requesting that anyone with information regarding the identity and location of this person may anonymously call 606-796-2912.
