RACELAND, Ky. — Raceland Days will soon be here again. The annual event will kick off Thursday, Aug. 13 and continue through Aug. 15. Laura Ashley Suttles, assistant with the Raceland Race Days, said they have a host of great talent performing this year.

“We have a really big show planned this year. I’ve booked Adam Crabb, and the Bowling Family for the Gospel Tide this year,” Suttles said. “For Saturday night we have David Ball, who is a popular gospel artist who has won two Grammy’s and quite a few hits, he is really pretty big.”

“We do have a grand marshall who is a veteran. His name is Williams Flocker, and we going to honor him this year,” she said.

“Everybody loves the stick horse race, and look forward to that,” she said. “We have the beauty pageant, and so much. It should be a very nice event, and we are looking forward to it.”
