The Greenup County Farmer’s Market will celebrate its annual Customer Appreciation Day with a breakfast on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Advance Memorial United Methodist Church at 1007 Bellefonte Road in Flatwoods. Ky.
Lora Pullin, extension agent at GCEC, said the Customer Appreciation Breakfast is their way of giving back to the community.
“This is something that we do each year. We will have a continental style breakfast. It is our way of giving back to the community, and showing our support to local farmers as well,” Pullin said.
In addition to a continental breakfast, Pullin said there There will a health clinic. and door prizes, and the market will be open from 7 a.m. until sell-out. The event is free, and everyone is welcome.
“We have Morgan King from Bellefonte Hospital coming, and she will be conducting free health screenings for participants,” she said.”This is always helpful to members of the community, and we are glad to help in this way.”
The event will be held in the fellowship hall of Advance Memorial United Methodist Church.
