Miss Valley, Kennedy McGraw, will be hosting a free family fitness camp at the Valley High School Football Stadium, 1821 E Lucasville-Minford Rd. from 5:30- 7 p.m.

Joe Vestich, James Fornear, and Mikey Mike and the Big Unit will be performing at Port City Cafe and Pub, 242 Chillicothe Street from 8-11 p.m.

May 20

Main Street Portsmouth will host their first farmers market of the season, from 9 until noon on the Roy Rogers Esplanade.

The West Portsmouth Tanks will play the West Virginia Lightning at the Complex, 1420 13th Street in West Portsmouth beginning at 7 p.m.

Faith Baptist Church will be hosting a community blood drive. Donate at: 7950 Ohio River Road, Wheelersburg, OH 45694. Call 740-574-1817 or visit www.redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome. Please bring a photo ID or ARC blood donor card.

The Tour of the Scioto River Valley will be coming through Portsmouth May 20 and 21. Drivers please use caution near bikers.

The SOMC Hike for Hospice will take place, please contact the Development Office at 740-356-2504 for more information.

Jason Burton and John Grubb will be performing at Port City Cafe and Pub, 424 Chillicothe Street from 5-7 p.m. Followed by the third-Saturday open jam session beginning at 8 p.m.

May 22

Port City Cafe and Pub will host Theology on Tap, from 6-8 p.m. in the Club Room. Everyone is invited to join Fr. Steve Cuff from All Saints Episcopal Church for “conversations about stuff that matters.” It’s an informal discussion, so feel free to bring yourself, your friends, your questions, your faith, your doubt.
