A brief vehicle pursuit in Lucasville Thursday night ended with minor injuries and one drug arrest.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers attempted to stop a 2012 Mazda 6 on Houston Hollow Road, in Lucasville, at about 9:33 p.m. Thursday for a moving violation. The vehicle failed to comply and a short pursuit ensued, ending after the driver lost control and struck a guardrail and a parked car coming to a stop in a creek.

The driver, identified as Antione T. Glanton, 34, was transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center and released with non-life-threatening injuries.

A search of the vehicle revealed about 113 grams of cocaine, with a street value of about $9,500. Glanton was charged with first-degree felony drug trafficking, first-degree felony possession of cocaine, and third-degree felony failure to comply. He was taken to the Scioto County Jail.
