Registration for the 18th Annual Spring Bear Run is now open. The 2013 Spring Bear Run will take place on Thursday, April 18 at 6 p.m. This past fall, over 1,100 runners registered for the Bear Run which was a new record for the bi-annual event. The 5K race continues to grow and has attracted over 900 runners in each of the past two years, becoming one of the largest road races in Ohio.

Registration will once again be free to all Shawnee State students, employees, faculty, staff and alumni. Students in grade school, junior high and high school may also register for free. For all others, registration will be $10 online.

Online registration will close on Sunday, April 14 at noon. There will be an additional $5 charge to register after Sunday for all runners. The only way to guarantee yourself Bear Run t-shirt in your size is to register in advance of the race.
