Vivian C. Hess, 73

Vivian Carol Hess, 73, of Portsmouth, formerly of Rubyville, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at SOMC Medical Center. Born May 29, 1939 in New Boston, a daughter of the late John and Catherine Kiser Greenhill, she was a homemaker and a member of Harrisonville High Praises Church of God.

She is survived by three sons, Chuck (Lisa) Hess of Hillsboro, Jim (Susanne) Hess of Stoutsville, Dan (Lisa) Hess of Hillsboro; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren, and one brother, Jack Greenhill of California. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hess; two brothers, Don and Dee Greenhill, and three sisters, Lena, Lucille, and Letha Fay.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Bishop Sam Salyers officiating. Burial will be at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville.
