Confiscation of 270 Oxycodone pills and 122 grams of heroin has resulted in the arrest of a Michigan man. James Earl Brown, 46, of Muskegon, Mich., is charged with possession of heroin, a felony of the first degree, and possession of Oxycodone, a second degree felony.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers stopped a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze on south bound U.S. 23 near Lucasville at approximately 7:30 p.m. Wednesday for a traffic violation. Troopers said they observed criminal indicators. A search ensued, resulting in the discovery of 122 grams of heroin and 270 Oxycodone pills, with a combined street value of $26,400.

Brown was arrested and incarcerated in the Scioto County Jail.

This arrest continues the trend of drug arrests of Michigan residents in the area.
