Gladys Lyles, 101

Gladys Lyles, 101, of New Boston died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, in Louisville, Ky. She was born March 10, 1911, in Greenup, Ky. a daughter of the late Thomas and Millie Dean Boggs. She was a homemaker and member of Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union.

She is survived by two sons, Dale (Elva) Lyles of Dade City, Fla. and Jerry (Shirley) Lyles of South Shore, Ky.; three sisters, Thelma Gayhart, Millie Hurst and Juanita Hansen all of Wheelersburg; a brother, Finess Boggs of Sciotoville; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great- grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Lyles, two sons, Ronald Lyles and Dean Lyles; four brothers, William, Ernest, Robert and Wilbur Boggs, a sister, Lena Ferrell and two grandchildren, Larry Lyles and Gary Lyles.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN NEW BOSTON with Pastors Gary Heimbach and Robert Jones officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Burial Park. Visitation will be Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at D.W. SWICK in New Boston. Condolences to dwswickfuneralhome.com.
