Timothy Fields, Sr., 66

Timothy Lee Fields, Sr., 66, of Portsmouth, formerly of Rubyville, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born March 23, 1946 in Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Ballard Jay Fields and Katherine Sylvia (Carl) Penton who survives. Tim was retired from the Laborers Local 83 in Portsmouth, was a member of the Christ Brethren Church and Loved spending his time with his son Tim deer hunting.

Tim is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Spencer) Fields, whom he married, Sept. 20, 2008 in Portsmouth; 3 sons, Tim Fields, Jr. of Lucasville, Charles (Alyssa) Richards of New Boston and Larry Spencer of Myrtle Beach, SC; 5 daughters; Tina (Tim) Mosley of Lucasville, Sherri (David) McSweeney of Minford, Melissa Fields of Lucasville, Nancy Richards of Lexington and Donna Spencer of Portsmouth; 3 brothers, Mark (Marsha) Fields of Lucasville, David (Eddie) Fields of TN and Daniel Fields of TX; one sister, Roxie (Mike) Monroe of Mulberry, FL; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the ADKINS-BRANT FUNERAL HOME in Portsmouth with Pastor Bob Davis officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. The family will receive friends at the Adkins-Brant Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
