Daniel Mosley, 71

Daniel Kieth Mosley, 71, of Portsmouth, died Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born August 24, 1941 in Portsmouth, he was the son of the late Ralph and Ethel Wear Mosley, Sr. Daniel served in the Air Force and was retired from the Dayton Walther Corp. He currently was working at Able Transport and a member of Central Church of Christ in Portsmouth. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Lynn (Faught) Mosley, whom he married on November 28, 1965 in Scioto County and one brother, Russell Mosley.

Surviving are two daughters, LaVonne Mosley of Nicholasville, KY and Tracy (Mark) Smith of Portsmouth; one sister, Janet Mosley of Columbus; two brothers, George Mosley of Portsmouth, Ralph (Bonnie) Mosley, Jr. of Lucasville and 3 grandchildren, Gabriel, Connor and Aidan Smith all of Portsmouth.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the ADKINS-BRANT FUNERAL HOME in Portsmouth with Pastor Dennis Dawes officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. The family will receive friends at the Adkins-Brant Funeral Home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
