Morris Horn, 84

Morris E. Horn, 84, of Wheelersburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at his residence. The Piketon, Ohio native was born July 19, 1928, the son of the late William E. and Pearlie Looney Horn. He is survived by Sarah Cremeans Horn of Wheelersburg, Ohio. Morris was a graduate of Springfield High School and a U.S. Army WWII Veteran. He was a truck driver for 53 years for Ford Brothers, Johnson Horse Transportation and BMI Trucking, retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Sand Hill Christian Baptist Church in Wheelersburg, Ohio, a member of the Ironton York Rite Bodies, the Masonic Lodge #198 and the Valley of the Cincinnati Scottish Rite.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers: Bill Horn and Paul Horn a special brother-in-law: Ronnie Cremeans.

He is survived by:

daughter: Kim Sanders-Ramski and her husband, John of De Pere, WI four sons: Earl Sanders and his wife, Dorthy of Yorktown, Va. Chuck Sanders and his wife, Denise of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, Chris Horn and his wife, Tanya of Franklin Furnace, Ohio and William “Bill” Horn of Akron, Ohio two sisters: Betty and Ben Locker of Springfield, Ohio and Doris Kennon of Marietta, Ohio special friends: Wilford and Becky Blizzard and Shelby Sloas all of Franklin Furnace, Ohio six grandchildren: Zack Sanders, Earl Sanders, Jr., Devon Ramski, William Sanders, who spent lots of time with his granddad, Louci McGrew, and Toriana Horn a great granddaughter: Anna Bell

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the Sand Hill Christian Baptist Church in Wheelersburg, Ohio with Pastor Ronnie Blevins and Tony Mollett officiating. Burial will follow in Junior Furnace Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church with the Masonic Scottish Rites at 7 p.m. Pallbearers will be Chris Horn, John Ramski, William Sanders, D.J. Johnson, Wilford Blizzard, and Mike Sloas.
