Charles Walker, 52
Charles M. Walker, age 52, of Social Circle, Georgia, formerly of Otway, Ohio, died 5:49 P.M. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Piedmont Henry Medical Center in Stockbridge, Georgia. He was born July 26, 1960, in Portsmouth, Ohio; a son of the late Charles and Rachel Euton Walker.
He is survived by one daughter, Brandy Walker of Conyers, Ga., one brother, Shawn Walker of Social Circle, Ga., two sisters, Charla Stepp and husband Tim of Wheelersburg, Ohio, and Johnna Walker of Lawrenceville, Ga., and nieces and nephews, Faith Morgan, Brianna Stepp, and Hunter Stepp. Charles was a 1978 graduate of Northwest High School, was employed by Hill Phoenix Refrigeration in Conyers, Ga., and was a US Navy veteran.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Jason Koch officiating. Burial will follow in Euton Cemetery with military graveside services by the James Dickey Post #23, American Legion, of Portsmouth. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
