Here are a couple of quotes by one of the world’s newest leaders:

“One American president after another — and most recently, that Obama — talks about American guarantees for the safety of the Zionists in Palestine,” Mohammed Morsi, president of Egypt, then a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, said on Egyptian television in reaction to Obama’s 2009 speech in Cairo. “[Obama] was very clear when he uttered his empty words on the land of Egypt. He uttered many lies, of which he couldn’t have fulfilled a single word, even if he were sincere — which he is not.

“Dear brothers, we must not forget to nurse our children and grandchildren on hatred towards those Zionists and Jews, and all those who support them,” Morsi said. “They must be nursed on hatred. The hatred must continue.”

The reason it is important to share these quotes is that we just sent four F-16 fighter jets and 200 Abram tanks to this man. Does this make any sense at all? First of all, we had to borrow money from China to pay for the jets, which we gave to one of the most demented people in the world. Egypt is not being attacked by anybody, so we must assume the jets and tanks are for offense instead of defense. We know they hate Israel and they hate the U.S., so why are we arming them?

This is just the tip of the iceberg. This country gives billions and billions of dollars every year to people who hate us and our allies, and who actively fight against us. With the high level of poverty that exists in the U.S., not one dime should go to our enemies until everyone in this nation is fed and clothed. Even then, we should not be arming our enemies in any way shape or form.

It just does not make sense to be giving aid to what essentially is our enemy and the enemy of our allies. The United States government needs to re-think our aid to foreign powers. That aid is a small part of the reason we are going to be $20 trillion in debt by the end of this year.

We need to reconsider whether it is wise to arm our enemies. For example, we gave Hosni Mubarak $60 billion. How did that work for the world? How did that work for his own people? We are going to see the same results with aid to Egypt. This man will use weapons against his own people and against our allies, and indirectly against us.

Another example, guess who provided financing, intelligence and training to Saddam Hussein’s forces? The United States government.

Stop the madness. Stop financing people who are against us and our allies. Stop spending money we don’t have to begin with. Stop doing what we have always done. The results have never been good, and they won’t be good in the future.
