A Sciotoville woman has been arrested and heroin, criminal tools and cash seized after law enforcement executed a search warrant. Hollie K. Lusk, 23, of 5638 Auburn Ave., is facing charges of possession of heroin, and possession of criminal tools, both fifth degree felonies.

Portsmouth Police Chief Robert Ware and Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said on Tuesday, at approximately 10:53 a.m., members of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force, which consists of Narcotics Detectives from the Portsmouth Police Department, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office and Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, executed a narcotics-related search warrant at Lusk’s residence.

Upon a search of the residence, Task Force personnel seized heroin, criminal tools, over $500 in cash, and drug paraphernalia. Lusk was arrested at that time, and placed in the Scioto County Jail on $5,000 bond. She was arraigned in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Wednesday.

Ware said a case against Lusk will be forwarded to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office to be presented to a Scioto County grand jury for the consideration of additional felony drug charges.

Ware and Donini said anyone wishing to leave drug information for the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force, can contact the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force tip line at 740-354-5656, or email drugs@sciotocountysheriff.com. All information will be kept confidential and anonymous.
