Beth Dunlap, Coalition Administrator, has released the agenda for this Friday’s meeting of the Scioto County Health Coalition at the ADAMHS Board office located at 919 7th St.. The day-long program begins with an All Hands meeting at 9 a.m., chaired by Dr. Terry Johnson. The purpose of the All Hands meeting is to receive reports from coordinators, set long term and monthly objectives and deal with administration and public information. There will also be a discussion of the Federal Cat grant.

At 10 a.m., the Wellness Committee chaired by Gary Duzan, will meet, followed by the Medical/Clinical Committee meeting at 11 a.m., headed by Scioto County Health Commissioner, Dr. Aaron Adams. At 1 p.m. the Economic Development Committee, co-chaired by Scott Moore and Chris Smith, will meet, followed by a 2 p.m. meeting of the Code Enforcement Committee, headed by Andy Gedeon and a 2:30 p.m. meeting of the Community Initiatives Committee, led by Craig Gilliland.

At 3:30 p.m. the Scioto County Drug Action Team will meet at the same location. Lisa Roberts, RN, said among items to be discussed will be the Team’s Strategic Plan for 2013; an update on Naxolone “Project Dawn;” news and updates on medication-assisted treatment in the area and updates on former pain clinics and their on-going legal problems.

Is this Healthy or Economic growth and development, or Keystone Kops???

And where's the presence of SSU and SOMC and KDMC's???

And SOPA, COAD, CAO, et al???

Or just another ad-hoc venture getting more press for their scrape books? Nice meeting schedule, and that meeting place is a new agency in the mix, are they getting rent for the meetings?
