Dave Kepp, 52

Dave Kepp, 52, of New Boston, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 16, 1960, in Portsmouth a son of the late Carl and Rose Bray Kepp.

Dave was a neighborhood papa and guardian for all the children in the Kiwanis Apartments.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Ann Eubank Kepp, whom he married Aug. 18, 2001; one daughter Erica Benner of Portsmouth; two grandchildren, Chloe and Noah Benner; step children Joshua White of New Boston, Cody and Seth White of Lucasville, and Misty White of Wheelersburg; three step grandchildren, Nevaeh, Madyson, and Alexandria; two brothers, Carl Kepp of Beaver and Charley Kepp of Minford; and two sisters, Carla (Ron) Spradlin of Greensville, S.C .and Jean Kepp of Beaver.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Rick Phillips officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
