Another monster night from Jen Arnzen sent visiting Notre Dame to a 40-38 nonconference win at Ironton St. Joseph.

The senior finished with 15 points and 23 rebounds in the win. Brooke Pierron chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds for the Titans.

Notre Dame travels Thursday to Clay. A win by the Titans clinches at least a share of its second-straight SOC I championship.

Fairland 67, Wheelersburg 49

Future University of Minnesota basketball player Terra Stapleton scored 17 of her game-high 24 points in the first and third quarters as Fairland used a 39-21 second half to break a 28-28 tie for a 67-49 home nonconference win over Wheelersburg.

Fay Proehl led the Pirates with 18 points and six rebounds. Sydney Holden had 15 points, five rebounds and three steals in the loss.

Wheelersburg hosts Oak Hill Thursday.
