Kevin Cooper, 42

Kevin Cooper, 42, of Lucasville, Ohio, formerly of South Shore, Ky., died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born Sept. 30, 1970, in Portsmouth, Ohio. He attended the Temple of Faith on Dry Run Rd. in West Portsmouth, Ohio.

He is survived by his father, Roger Cooper and step-mother Helen of Wheelersburg, Ohio. and his mother Linda Hunt Cooper and Harold Smith Jr. of South Shore, Ky.,one son, Matthew Eric Cooper at home, one sister, Vicki (Marvin) Moore of South Shore, nephews; Jeremy and Jeffrey Moore and niece Shaeleigh Moore.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Earl and Mary Hunt and Jessie and Dorsie Cooper, an uncle, Jack Cooper and a cousin Marty Newman.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Morton Funeral Home in South Shore with Steve Luster officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery in South Shore. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
