Rose Mary Goodman, 85
Rose Mary Goodman, age 85, passed away Jan. 19, 2013.
She was born April 21, 1927 in Portsmouth, to the late Hord and Ethel (Johnston) Williams. Rose Mary worked as a respiratory therapist at many hospitals including Marymount, Medina General, Southwest General, Lodi Community, and Kaiser Permanente. She loved to cook, play the piano, and she was a collector of many things. She also was a member of Church at the Lake Methodist Church where she belonged to the Grandmothers Club.
Rose Mary was the loving mother of George H. (Cheryl) Goodman, Linda A. (Ed) Miller, Deborah M. (Robert) Michaels, and Lindsay (Barbara) Goodman; dear grandmother of thirteen and great grandmother of thirteen; sister of Howard Williams, Rachel Mae Osborn, Ruth Reinhart, and Betty Lou Cormany.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lindsay G., son Darrell F., brother Hollie Williams, sisters Helen Fern, and Laura Nel Procter.
Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Reverend Tom Henderson will officiate. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 p.m. until time of service at 7 p.m. Burial will be at Old Wheelersburg Cemetery on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. in Wheelersburg.
