Larry Taylor, 66

Larry David Taylor, 66 of Sciotoville, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at his home. He was born Jan. 4, 1947, in Rarden to the late Sanford and America Yates Taylor. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. He was a construction worker and of the Baptist faith. He was baptized and saved on Mothers Day, May 10, 1976.

Larry is survived by his wife Penny Taylor, a son Roger (Samie Walker) Taylor of Louisville, two daughters; Penny (Phil) Draves and Renee (Donnie Frazier) all of Washington Court House, four grandchildren; Layne Draves, Allison Taylor, Chevy Frazier and Ciara Frazier all of Washington Court House, five brothers; Roger, Russell and Tom Taylor and Robert and Delbert Copas, along with four sisters; Hazel Howard, Ruth Comber, Edith Pitts and Martha Trochelman.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
