After a pair of overtime wins in its last two outings, visiting Wheelersburg won with a comfortable 54-47 SOC II margin over South Webster.
Fay Proehl led all scorers with 20 points and seven steals. Sydney Holden had 11 points, six rebounds, four steals and three assists in the victory. Brooke Smith added eight rebounds and five assists for the Pirates.
Haley Potters led the Jeeps with 10 points. Wheelersburg entertains Ashland (Ky.) Paul Blazer Monday night. South Webster gets Green the same evening.
