William Ice, 69

William David Ice, age 69, passed away Tuesday evening, Jan. 15, 2013. He was born in 1943 to David Thomas Ice and Eleanora Strayer Ice. Bill graduated from Jackson High School, Marshall University and Michigan State University. Before beginning his employment with the State of Michigan, he taught briefly at Oakland University. After retiring, he moved back to Southern Ohio, where he lived on a farm near South Webster.

Bill is survived by brother, James R. (Janice) Ice; sisters, Agnes I. (William) Martin and Claudia Ice; nephew, John I. (Jennifer) Martin and grand-niece, Audrey Elizabeth Martin.

The memorial service will be private at a later date. Visitation for friends and family will be held at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson, Ohio on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, from noon - 2 p.m.
