June R. Carroll, 74

June Ruth Carroll, 74, of Minford, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at the residence of her daughter, Becky. She was born July 11, 1938 in Cambridge, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ronald J. and Alice Warden Groves, she was a homemaker and a member of Morning Star Parish. She was a member of the Historical Society, Lucasville Garden Club and Portsmouth Little Theatre.

She is survived by one son, Ron (Teresa) Carroll of Little Hocking; two daughters, Opal E. Carroll of Portsmouth, Becky (Ralph) Chatfield of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Jill Carroll, Matt Carroll, Kate Carroll, Heather (Tommy) Twinam, Scott (Keelie) Chatfield; four great grandchildren, Haley, Tommy, Lacey, Max; brother-in-law, James R. Carroll, and sister-in-law, Merriam Knapp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. Carroll on July 2, 2000 whom she married December 22, 1957.
