Dawn Robinson, 80

Dawn Suzanne Robinson, 80, of Portsmouth, formerly of Clearwater, Florida, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at Crystal Care Center of Portsmouth.

She was born Nov. 1, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and also lived in Chicago, Illinois; Atlanta, Georgia; and St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, and worked with a railroad company in downtown Chicago after college.

Dawn was the daughter of the late Ralph (Robbie) Robinson and Mildred Kammerer Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mercedes L. Chaboudy; and a nephew. She is survived by a niece, two grand nieces and one grand nephew.

Sincere appreciation goes to the staff at Crystal Care Center and SOMC Hospice for their excellent care and concern.

There will be no funeral service or visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of F.C. Daehler Mortuary Company in Portsmouth.
