The first weekend of back-to-back contests, both on the road, did not phase Valley in the end as they erased a six-point deficit in the third quarter to defeat Unioto 75-59 in Saturday’s nonconference matchup.
Jordan West led the Indians with 18 points, Chris Flowers and Hayden Dunn each had 16 and Brian Rolfe chipped in with 15 as Valley won its second road contest in as many nights. The Indians return home Jan. 4 to host West.

The Eastern Eagles squeaked out a 52-51 win over Piketon to claim the 2013 Pike County Holiday Classic Saturday night. Both boys and girls programs will enter next season as defending champions.
