Gerald Hyland, 69

Gerald Earl Hyland age 60 of Piketon died December 22, 2012 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice. He was born October 27, 1943 in Baltimore, MD to the late Gerald Phillip Hyland and Pearl Jane Boggs Hyland.

He was an US Army Vietnam veteran. He was a former employee for Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections at Pickaway Correctional Institute.

He is survived by one son, Albert James (Joanna) Hyland, two daughters, Kelli Ann (Brian) Robinson and Kimberly Jane (Ron) Dickess, two brothers, Dan Hyland and Bill Hyland, one sister, Bobbi Jo Hyland, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg with Pastor Larry Lavender officiating. Burial will be in Saint Peter’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. and one hour before the funeral service on Thursday.
