Nancy Pertuset, 71

Nancy Ann Pertuset, 71 of Diehlman Branch Rd. McDermott, Ohio, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, in the SOMC Hospice Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 21, 1941, in Portsmouth to the late Dennis and Elvira Wyatt Maple.

She was united in marriage on Jan. 31, 1962, to Bernard Ray Pertuset, Sr. who survives.

Also surviving are two sons: Jim Pertuset and wife Debbie of McDermott, Bernard Pertuset, Jr. and wife Brenda of Wheelersburg, one daughter, Tracy Hoffer and husband Mark of McDermott, nine grandchildren: Luke, Kari, Emily, Seth, Aaron, Becky, Kandi, Kacy, and Rebecca. Three great grandchildren: Brayden, Isahia, and Halie. Three brothers: Dennis Maple of New Paris, Ohio, Paul Thomas Maple of New Carlisle, Ohio, and Roy Maple of Lancaster, Ohio and two sisters: Lucille Wilson of Springfield, Ohio and Norma Pelfrey of Germantown, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Williams, a son-in-law, Paul Craig, and three brothers-in-law.

Mrs. Pertuset was a member of the Stoney Run Tabernacle Church, a member of the Rush Township Squad #2 for 10 years, and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Union Township Fire Dept.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at the Henley Baptist Church with Francis Wiley and Roy Maple, ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Garvin Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Botkin Funeral Home in Otway, and Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at the church.
