Irene F. Pasturzak, 71

Irene F. “Skeets” Pasturzak, 71, of McDermott, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at SOMC Hospice. She was born April 2, 1941, in Portsmouth to the late Earl Dosa and Lucy Bell Bradley Swords. She was a homemaker and loved her little dog Dino. Irene also loved to dance in her younger years. Along with her parents Irene was preceded in death by her husband Arthur “Big John” Pasturzak who she married on July 14, 1962, in Otway and three brothers; John Joe and Harry Swords.

Irene is survived by a son John Anthony Pasturzak of Chillicothe, two daughters; Lucy Robertson of Lucasville and Mary Jo “Crickett” Pasturzak of McDermott, two brothers; Willard Swords and David Swords both of Friendship, three sisters; Mary Rackley of Cincinnati, Janet Ramey of Sciotoville and Linda Sissel of Friendship, five grandchildren; Brooke Wear, Brittany Hopkins, Taylor Hopkins, Justin Coffey and Branden Coffey, two step grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
