Kathy Hoskins, 61

Kathy Mae Allen Hoskins, 61, of Wheelersburg, passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at her residence after a brief illness.

She was an employee of Horizon Home Health Care as a caregiver. Kathy is the daughter of the late Frank Allen and Elizabeth Musick Allen Martin. She was also preceded in death by a brother; Johnny Ray Allen, step-father; Jim Martin, and nephew; Dustin Allen.

She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Mark Hoskins, a daughter; Tracy Hoskins, a son and daughter-in-law; Jamie and Terry Hoskins. Four beloved dogs; Daisy, Brutus, Zippy, and Biscuit, a cat; Kitty Kitty, a sister and brother-in-law; Sharon and Robert Deer, brother and sister-in-law; Joe and Pam Allen, sisters; Pam Martin and Karen Horsley, brother-in-law; Joseph Hoskins, sister-in-law; Isabelle Hansing, and seven grandchildren; Josh, Kia, Jalynn, Kyle, Brooklyn, Cadence, and Cassie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and a special niece, Leah Sayers.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Melcher Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with Rev. Darrell Musick officiating. Friends may call at Melcher Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and again one hour before the service on Thursday.
