Wheelersburg used a 10-1 offensive rebounding edge to defeat Jackson 61-34 in Saturday’s Newt Oliver Classic at the University of Rio Grande.

Dylan Miller led the Pirates with 20 points and six rebounds while teammate Derek Moore added 11 points and five rebounds. Wheelersburg won the rebounding battle 20-13 overall en route to its second win in less than 24 hours.

The Pirates play their home opener Tuesday as Green pays a visit.
