Ethel Thacker, 83

Ethel Thacker, 83, of Minford died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at home. She was born Jan. 19, 1929, in Pike Co., Ky. a daughter of the late Joe and Oma Mullins Whitt. She is survived by two sons, Roger Lee Thacker of Williamson, W.Va. and Larry Joe Thacker of Minford; a daughter, Regina Whitt of Minford; three brothers, Sam Baker of Minford, Joe Baker Jr. of Wheelersburg and Buck Baker of Pike Co., Ky.; two half brothers, Hi Maynard of Sciotoville and Bobby Maynard of Feds Creek, Ky. five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thacker, a son, Fred Spriggs and a infant daughter, Patricia Ann Thacker. Services will be 2 p.m. Wed. Oct. 3, 2012, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME IN SOUTH WEBSTER with Pastor Rick Mollett officiating. Interment will be at White’s cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wed. 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at D.W.
