Agnes Blume, 97

Agnes I. Blume 97, of Portsmouth died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born Feb. 12, 1915, in New Boston, a daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude Odel Kasee. She attended North Moreland Christian Baptist Church.

Agnes is survived by a son, Ronald F. Blume and wife Marquita of Portsmouth; a daughter, Patricia Johnson of Franklin Furnace; two grandchildren, Christina Hamilton and Dustin Johnson, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond S. Blume.

Services will be noon Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Paul Hagen officiating. Interment will be at Universal cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday at 11 a.m. until noon at D.W. SWICK in New Boston. Condolences to dwswickfuneralhome.com.
