Marcus W. Moritz, 63 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012. Born Dec. 22, 1948, in Portsmouth, Ohio, son of the late Marcus M. & Betty Jean (Groves) Moritz. He was a self-employed painter & wallpapering contractor. Preceded in death by sister: Garnetta Louise Moritz in 1954; brother-in-law: Bill Kazee in 1993. Survived by wife of 45 years: Mary J. (Vestal) Moritz; Sons & daughters-in-law: Mark W. & Cathy Moritz, Jr. of Brookville, Ohio and Andy G. & Lou Moritz of Arcanum, Ohio; brother: Mike (Kris) Moritz of Columbus, Ohio; sisters: Velma “Toots” Kazee and Brenda (Bob) Wise both of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren: Ashley Moritz, Kalley Moritz and Rachel Hicks. Funeral service noon Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at Go Ministries International Church – 5125 U.S. 40 West – New Paris, Ohio. Visitation Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the church.
