Robert Kitts, 83

Robert Kitts, age 83, of Bobo Rd., Beaver, Ohio, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, at the Adena Pike Medical Center in Waverly, Ohio. He was born Oct. 18, 1928, in Magoffin County, Ky. Mr. Kitts was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bowens Kitts, who died June 3, 2001. Surviving are one son, Tony Kitts of Beaver, Ohio, one daughter, Carol Malone of Beaver, Ohio, five grandchildren, Mark Allen Malone, Max Kitts, Melissa Gardner, Vicki Brigner, and Brandon Brigner, one great-grandson, Braden Malone, two step-granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one son, David Kitts, one grandson, Bobbie Malone, seven brothers, and five sisters.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home in Beaver, Ohio. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
