Mary Johnson, 82
Mary Louise Johnson, 82, of Lucasville, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at SOMC Hospice.
She was born Oct. 25, 1929, in Portsmouth; a daughter of the late Paul Henry and Bertha Mae Locke Morgan.
Mary was a homemaker, a member of the Cook Road Baptist Church, and a 1948 Valley High School graduate. She was a member of the Lucasville Chapter 495 of the Order of Eastern Star. Mary loved the Southern Ohio Opry, was a world traveler, a devoted mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She is survived by one daughter Pamela Sue Justice of Lucasville; a step son, Paul (Joyce) Williams of Axton, Virginia; two grandchildren Angie (Donnie) Copas, Christy Oyer, both of Lucasville; three great grandchildren Trey Adkins, Hunter Oyer, and Hutson Oyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Johnson Jr., Jan. 28, 1996; and her daughter Patty Johnson, June 6, 2000.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at the Cook Road Baptist Church with Larry Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Lucasville Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville and an hour before the funeral Thursday at the church. Eastern Star services will be held 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at the funeral home.

She was so proud of her grandsons and her daughter Pam and her girls.
I have no doubt that she is in heaven giving directions as to how the clouds and stars need to be taken care of...and it will be the right way too.
