Elsie G. Kopp, 79, of Xenia, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Greene Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 14, 1933, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of Elmer and Gladys Hayslip Blevings. She was a member of St. Brigid Church and a longtime nurse for Dr. Richard F. Falls and Dr. Robert Brewster.
She is survived by her husband, John F. Kopp, a son and daughter-in-law, Dan (Mary) Kopp, Columbus, two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda Campbell-Hampson and Neil Hampson, Beavercreek, and Carol (Mike) Parker, Xenia, five grandchildren, Nicholas Kopp, Ann Roberts, Laura Berry, Christopher Campbell, and Ted Campbell, 10 great-grandchildren, Gavin, Katie, Kelsey, Evan, Kayla, Seldon, Andrew, Michelle, Kensee, and Cody, and a brother and sister-in-law, Bill Jack (Charlotte) Blevings, Wheelersburg, Oh.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister, Elmer, Harry, and Marilyn Blevings. Elsie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mass of Christian Burial will was held at 10am, Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at St. Brigid Church, 312 Fairground Rd., Xenia. with Father Bill Kramer officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Neeld Funeral Home, 1276 N. Detroit St., Xenia. Entombment will follow the Mass at Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Centerville.
