Brittany Morgan, and Michael Thacker announce engagement and upcoming wedding, Aug. 4, 2012
Gary and Jeannie Morgan of Aberdeen, Ohio, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Brittany Leigh to Michael Donovan Thacker. Michael is the son of Howard “Butch” and Toni Thacker of Portsmouth, Ohio.
Brittany is the granddaughter of Ms. Mildred Swearingen and the late Robert Swearingen of Aberdeen, and Ms. Freda Ross of Middletown, Ohio. Michael is the grandson of Ms. Linda Homoelle and the late Tony Homoelle of Columbus, Ohio, and the late Howard and Merle Thacker formally of Portsmouth.
Brittany is a graduate of Ripley High School. She received her Associate degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Shawnee State University. Brittany is a Registered Nurse in the Case Management Department at Southern Ohio Medical Center.
Michael is a graduate of Clay High School. He received his Bachelor of Business degree from Shawnee State University, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration from Morehead State University. Michael is a Contract Specialist with Flour B &W Portsmouth, LLC.
The evening wedding will take place at Shawnee State University Vern Riffe Center for the Arts on Aug. 4, 2012, in Portsmouth, Ohio.
