Curtis McGlone, 75

Curtis Wayne McGlone, 75, of Wheelersburg, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born Aug. 13, 1936, in Carter County, Ky., a son of the late Everett and Gladys Madelyn Clifton McGlone, he was a driver for Greyhound Bus Lines, a USSA Umpire and an active high school basketball and baseball official.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Fraley McGlone; two sons, Rickey (Barbara) McGlone of Palm Coast, Fla., John David Lem-mons of Wheelersburg; one daughter, Kathy Skeans of Wheelersburg; nine grandchildren, Curtis (Jodie) Krick, Amber Liken, Melody (Reuben) Roe, Stephanie (Maurice) Pennington, Shane (Adrian) Skeans, Nicholas, Elizabeth, John David, Kristy; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers, Leon (Barbara) McGlone, Horace (Shirley) McGlone; two sisters, June (Don) Hutchinson, Lorna (Jay) Allen, and a sister-in-law, Linda McGlone.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Lowell McGlone.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Major Montgomery officiating. Burial will be at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
