Two vehicle injury crash on U.S. 50 in Ross Co.

BOURNEVILLE – The Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two vehicle injury crash which occurred on U.S. 50, in Twin Township, Ross County.

On July 20, 2012, at approximately 4:57 p.m., Benjamin B. Keim, age 26, of Waverly, was traveling westbound on U.S. 50 in a 1985 Ford Dump truck. The vehicle traveled left of center and struck Michael T. Cain, age 53, of Frankfort, driving a 2012 Freightliner Conventional truck eastbound on U.S. 50. Cain then drove off the right side of the roadway striking two mailboxes.

Keim was transported to Adena Medical Center by Twin Township EMS with serious injuries. Cain was also transported to Adena Medical Center by Twin Township EMS with serious injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
