Ricky Howard, 53

Ricky D. Howard, 53, of Minford, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 16, 2012, at home. He was born Dec. 5, 1958, in Ironton, a son of Alka Howard of Minford and the late Landon Howard. He was the youngest of 10 children. He is preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Howard, one brother, Otis Howard, and a very special niece, Ravin Salyers. In addition to his mother he is survived by six, brothers Russell, Richard, Louie, Bob, John and Larry Howard; three sisters, Connie Percell, Darlene Morgan and Betty McDaniel; many nieces, nephews, a good friend, Sandy Paxton, and his dogs, Sunny and Bandit. He is loved and will be sadly missed by the family. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Stockdale Cemetery, with Dennis Dawes, minister officiating.
