Dorothy Lillian Wilkerson, 85, of Rosemount, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Southern Ohio Medical Center.

Born March 15, 1927, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Blanche Oursler Moritz, she was a cook for Clay Local Schools, was a sale representative for Stanley Home Products and attended Twin Valley Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Lana Hauth of Portsmouth; one son, Dale (Sharon) Wilkerson of South Shore, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Jill Hauth (Tom Armstrong) of Portsmouth, Dale (Aerika) Wilkerson, Jr. of Columbus, David Wilkerson of Wurtland, Kentucky; one great-grandson, Hunter Armstrong; one brother, Robert Moritz; and one sister, Betty Burnham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Wilkerson, whom she married on Dec. 18, 1947; four brothers, Carl Moritz, Arthur Moritz Jr., Ralph Moritz, Donald Moritz; and three sisters, Helen Cottle, Mildred Logan and Norma Hinkle.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Twin Valley Baptist Church in Twin Valley with Pastor Don Noel officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Franklin Furnace. Friends may call at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
